  • Receipt for postage.The customer could receive a receipt that indicated the postage and any special fees that were paid.
  • Unable to deliver.
  • Receipt of registration. The customer would receive a receipt that indicated the postage, registration fee, and any special fees that were paid.
  • Invitation of registered item. Addressees are informed by an invitation of the arrival of a registered item at the post office.
  • Notice of delivery (also known as return receipt and advice of delivery). For an additional fee the sender can be informed that the registered item has been delivered and who signed for it.
